Imagine, all those places, all those people getting out and walking or running for a better life for us all. It's amazing how the human spirit can come together to help save our planet. It's wonderful! Congratulations to all the participants and sponsors. I'm overwhelmed at this great show of compassion and concern.

Just wanted to share one of many water saving fact, because a lot of you love pets as much as I do:

Pet waste is one of the many common storm water pollutants that can degrade water quality including paint, oil, automotive fluids, construction debris, yard waste, pesticides, trash and pool chemicals. Learn more by clicking here.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On April 18, 2010, more than 100 countries will be participating in a series of 6km races will take place over the course of 24 hours in support of the global water crisis. Through a cross-platform global fundraising effort all donations raised by the Dow Live Earth Run for Water will be used to fund sustainable and scalable water programs. For the comprehensive list of Live Earth’s NGO partners around the world, please visit http://liveearth.org/runforwater/partners.

How cool of you to post this! My brother in law does pet waste removal and one of his things is helping the environment. I'm feeling a little better as long as I avoid outside which is blah because I love outside :( I hope you're having a great day! Love, Kathy

Good Morning Doris,

I have enjoyed looking at yesterdays post pictures. It is a beautiful time of the year!

Thanks for stopping by the farmhouse this morning. Yes, those Marachi Band really can pep a person up---who needs the Tequila??

Have a great day!

All these chemicals getting into the water, ugh! And some of them are really weird and long-lasting.
