I also would like to offer a Special Mention award, because I feel that this entry is not only unique, but the contestant is very near and dear to my heart, namely Contestant No. 4, the European (or Western) Honeybee, submitted by Jess from The Beneficial Bee. As you can probably tell from the name of my shop, my blog and the items I crochet, I support honeybee research and hope that we can find the cause for CCD before it's too late.

Oh my gosh! This is wonderful!! Thank you Doris, and to everyone who voted for Ubu! I did not see this until just now, because I fell asleep very EARLY last night! In fact, I was very upset that I missed the Yankees game!.. well, they lost anyways, so I'm going to put on the coffee, and stay awake for tonight's game for SURE! I am busy taking down curtains and still packing around here, so on my next break, Ubu and I will try to let you know what we picked out from your shop! Thank you so much, Doris!
