Jack Frost was here...

... he came down South and left his calling card on the bushes:

the trees:

and on the grass:

Come along, Gizzy, just follow my footsteps in the "crunchy" grass!

What's this mama?

Why, Gizzy, that's ice on the road - be careful - it's very slippery!

It looks very sparkly, mommy, but it feels cold on my feet!

(Watch out, mommy, don't slip and break your fake hips!)

Thank you, Jack Frost, that'll do!

Now, could you please ask Old Man Winter to send some snowflakes my way?

REMINDER: Tomorrow is the last day to enter my December Giveaway, so do it now, if you've not entered yet!

We heard how cold it got in the South, hope all our oranges will be OK. Please be careful out there, both Mom and Gizzy, very tricky walking on ice.

oh my goodness, look at you guys! You have more visible winter down there than we do up here! Just up here all the puddles are frozen now and it's incredibly windy today... and was 24 degrees when I had to run errands earlier today. Brrrr!

My goodness, it was really cold there... It's been below freezing here since Sunday now and even though it's supposed to get up into the low 30's tomorrow, we'll be under a winter advisory. Sleet and freezing rain are on their way here...

What great icicle pictures. It makes me shiver just to look at them!! And it is about 20 degrees today, too! But of ourse little Giz outsines the icicles!

You and the sweet Gizster both need to be careful with the presents Jack brought. I like it when he paints the windows and leaves the roads and sidewalks along, then I think he's swell. Otherwise I have to chase after him with salt. The Olde Bagg, Linda

Wow Doris and Giz...how was that to wake up to? I am betting you loved it!

We had a high of 12 today, but I bundled up and got out of the house..ventured to the grocery store and then back home...it felt good to be out, breathing in that cold, crip air.

I'll send some of our snow your way...we are supposed to get more on Thursday...I'm not a big fan of ice anymore...too afraid of falling.

Stay warm Beautiful and Give my Gizz a Hug! One for you too! :)

I love you!
