Last night was the second time I took Gizzy down to the lake at dusk to watch the full moon rise from behind the trees and see his moonbeams reflecting on the water. It was so beautiful! We're going back tonight. I love to walk home in the dark and see the full moon with the stars above...how romantic - if even just with my dog ;-)
It was such a beautiful and may I say, balmy, evening with a gentle, warm breeze. We were sitting on the park bench looking at the exact view you're seeing here and listening to the crickets and cicadas - AND the birds! They were singing at dusk chirping and whistling, saving their best for last! What a glorious time to be alive!

That Gizzy is just spoiled..you'd swear he was human, wouldn't you? Beautiful photo.
That picture is so gorgeous! I'm glad you were able to appreciate and enjoy it because soon it'll be too cold. And the memory of the evening will hopefully warm you up during those cold months.
