Thank you!

Thank you everyone for your condolences and kind words. It will take some time to recuperate for it was a quite sudden loss. By the time Gizzy was diagnosed with kidney failure on Nov. 4th, just 3 days after his 14th Birthday, he went downhill really quickly.... in a way it's good he didn't linger for too long, but it all seems like a nightmare to me. I am very comforted by having Weezie and I'm amazed at all the kindness and support of my friends in cyberland. You are so caring and kind. God bless you all for being so sweet to me.

Someone on Facebook made a couple of Gizzy graphics that I wanted to share with you:

"It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are." (Author Unknown)

I wish you much comfort in these days to come. Gizzy will always be in your heart and foremost in your mind and thoughts. Thank you for sharing Gizzy's daily life with all of us. It was nice to take the stroll out by the lake all the time with Gizzy and you. And to see his pictures and his thoughts everyday. He will be missed by all of us.

Oh, I really like the first one. Aren't they lovely? Can you print them out and put them in little frames?

Big hugs from Utah,

Such sweet graphics in Gizzy's memory. What a wonderful thing to do. I know how hard it will be to adjust to life without Gizzy. I hope that Weezy helps to ease the pain just a little bit.

So sorry about Gizzy. It was evident in your photos that he had something so special and was eager to share. I know he was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

It was 10 years ago when I lost my girl Spunky, a chihuahua that was 14, so I feel your pain. I know how rough it is when you loose a fur baby and that is exactly what they are when they live with you the way Gizzy did. I do know that you will always remember fondly all those wonderful times with him. I still remember things about Spunky like it was yesterday. They will always be in our hearts and our memories.

Such a sweet memorial to Gizzy!

Hugs,
Angela

My Sweet Sister Doris...

What a beautiful tribute to Gizz!

I'm still holding you close in Sister Love and in Prayer and hope you have found some comfort from all of your friends here and on Facebook. We all loved Gizzy too, not as much as his Momma, but we do! I still find myself getting choked up and teary-eyed...I was Gizzy's Auntie after all. :)

I love you my sweet friend!!!
xoxoxo

P.S. I sent up prayers the day we talked and asked my Buster Boy to run and find Gizzzy to play...I'm sure they are off and running in the meadows in Heaven!

My life, I am what I am said...

Meine liebe Doris,
gestern abend 23.00 Uhr deutscher Zeit, dachte ich mir, sieh mal, was Gizzy macht...
Sabine
