Rainy morning and an excellent flick!

I was watching a great animated movie while it was raining this morning and I highly recommend it:

I never knew an owl movie could be that exciting - fun to watch, even without children!

Here are some photos of the sunflowers I raised from seed:

Wishing you a great weekend and please excuse my absenteeism. I've been spending time outside and not have had much time for blogging, but will resume once summer sets in and the heat won't allow me to be outside as much. Thanks for understanding. I appreciate all of you, my dear blogging buddies!

The movie you watched sounds fun! I saw the trailer of it on line. The owl is an amazing creature.
The sunflowers are delightful. We are still stuck with unbearably cold weather. Argh...
Enjoy your weekend and come by for a visit soon. Anne

Oh that movie does look good Doris! I just wish I had a Redbox Video rental SOMEWHERE by me, but I don't have ANY video rental near me, so I have to buy my videos, whenever I can afford to.. Most usually when they are in the $5 bin at Walmart, when I DO buy one... LOVE your sunflowers.. Beautiful, they are!! Hope you and Gizzy have a nice walk! ((hugs)) ~tina

I almost bought that movie for the kids but I wasn't sure if it was a good one or not. Now that I know that it is good I'll get it the next time I see it when I'm out!

Your flowers look beautiful!

Have a Great Weekend!

The winds are blowing us away!! Glad you are having a wonderful time watching movies and taking such pretty photos of those lovely sunflowers! We don't usually have sunflowers around here until end of September!! Enjoy your week-end!

The sunflowers are beautiful! They have come up so big so quickly!!! And that movie does look really good!! Anne Marie is scared of owls! Her other grandmother just bought a new house with owl wallpaper in one room and they need to take it down. I would love this movie, though!!

Those sunflowers are really pretty! You did a great job with them.

It was beautiful this morning but I think it's going to rain this evening, sure feels like it!

Looks like a good movie.

Your sunflowers are so pretty - our state flower:) Whenever Mom grew them, she was never able to get them to stand up nice and tall like yours do.

Hope you and Gizzy were able to do that walk.

Oh, those flowers are so beautiful! We loved Legend of the Guardians as well. It has such a good moral and entertaining! Another one you may like is called Valiant, about a WWII pigeon. Have a great weekend!

Your sunflowers are really pretty. I have some that I started in the house. I hope I can get mine to grow once I move them outside

Hi again! Just wanted to tell you where that "Happy Frogs" pattern can be found, so here's the webpage address...

http://sue-mindnsoul.blogspot.com/2010/05/happy-frog-free-pattern.html

As for the TP Roll Mini Albums, they're miniature scrapbooks, basically, made out of empty bathroom tissue rolls, OR paper towel rolls, cut into 2 pieces. The one opening will be the binding side, while the other side of the roll, still opened serves as a pocket. They are fun to make, and tutorials can be found on YouTube, I'm sure.. This is just one of them..

My best tip for making them.. Paint the rolls you've TRIED flattening. This softens them up more, making them a little more softer and agreeable to work with. If you ever want to do a TP Roll Mini album swap, someday, just let me know! (0; Hope you and Gizzy are enjoying the weekend! ((hugs)) ~tina

I can't believe your sunflowers are blooming already. Ours are getting there, but it will be a while before we'll have blooms.

I have not seen that movie but think I'll rent it if it is that good.

Did you plant them in GA clay or black soil? They are gorgeous.

i hope some of the cooler weather we're having here in south carolina made it's way to you. we've been having lows in the 50's and highs in the mid 70's. it's been wonderful to have the windows open at night in may! who knew that was possible?! haha.
