My March Giveaway

Since March is the month we celebrate St. Patrick's day - no matter if we're Irish or not - and many of us are starting to spend more time outside, I think it's only fitting to offer something "green" for my Giveaway prize this month.

I am offering this 269 page hard cover book:

I browsed through this book by Tamsin Blanchard who lives in London with her partner and daughter and a small silkworm farm. It has an interesting subject mix all pertaining to being green and environmentally friendly in our everyday life.

Also, I am offering this pretty 200-pc Disney puzzle that even I could probably tackle...it's small, cute and does not seem too challenging ... in other words, it looks to me like it would be fun to assemble.

It would probably look very pretty framed and hanging in a sun room, porch or a child's room.

The rules are simple - as always - everyone is welcomed to enter - previous winners and overseas bloggers included.

Leave a comment on this post saying you want to be in the drawing. If you just want to comment, then please let me know so I won't put your name in the hat.

You can earn more entries by

a) being a follower

b) following me on facebook

c) sharing this giveaway with others through your blog (linking back), or via twitter or on facebook

Please let me know which applies to you so that I can give you the additional entries for the drawing.

Last day to enter will be Saturday, March 19, 2011!

(I will announce the winner the following day.)

In closing, I want to share that my (green leaf) lettuce are doing well. I planted the seeds almost two weeks ago (2/25/11) and soon I will transfer them into bigger pots:

Maybe if all goes well, I can enjoy fresh salads all summer long. Have you seen the prices on lettuce in the stores lately? $2.89 for a head of Iceberg lettuce? I don't think so!

Happy weekend everyone!

Count me in - my 4 year old would love that puzzle - even if it is Tinkerbell ;-) I'm a follower, and I just liked your honeybee fan page on facebook (I didn't see a link for a blog fanpage, so I'm going to assume that's the one you'd like liked!)

Hi again. Don't put me in the drawing. Hopefully someone with a sweet little girl or grandgirl will win and enjoy the putting of this together.

Loved seeing your lettuce. Inspirational. Yeah, lettuce and greens in general are just sky high. Not to mention everything else.

Your lettuce looks great! Is it iceburg? I think I think I'll opt out of the giveaway this time, as I don't really have time to read or do puzzles.

I work in a grocery store so I know that the produce prices are through the roof these days. Tomatoes are another one that have skyrocketed.
I would love to be included in your giveaway and I'm also a follower :)
