(Arlene)
There was more than enough for us three, plus take homes.
After dinner, we moved into the living room for some R&R Notice the big Treasure Chest on Arlene's coffee table? She built that one from wood coming from an old 100 year old house, making it extra precious.
(Marcia reading on the couch and Gizzy on the floor)
Meanwhile, Arlene graced us with a little music on her Autoharp. She played a German/Austrian song called "the Cuckoo" that involved yodeling - which she did! I was impressed! I doubt very many folks got yodeled to this Thanksgiving.
I hope you all had a peaceful and tasty Thanksgiving today.

That sounds like a very pleasant and rewarding Thanksgiving day for all of you! Your squash looks wonderful and delicious to boot.
It went pretty smooth here except for poor Harley cat. She's about 18. My MIL's dog (busy border collie) chased Harley up a tree. Then she could not get down. Poor kitty was up there for about 15 minutes before I decided I had to extract her. I guess I will have to blog it... :) There was some yelling involved between me and husband. Kind of comical now.
Bye for now!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Looks like you had a very nice Thanksgiving. :)
My goodness Doris, what a wonderful time you had this Thanksgiving! I know you're thankful to have such wonderful friends. I'm not a vegetarian which is really a good thing if you're a diabetic. No carbs or sugars to speak of in meats or eggs. teehee My husband, myself and one of our sons went out to eat for Thanksgiving and it was really good but no leftovers. Thank goodness. I have much to be thankful for this year and one thing is friends like you that I've met in blogland or on facebook.
Hugs XX
