A little angel and my newest addiction

It's been a busy day today. I had to go grocery shopping and that always wears me out. I can't believe I am actually complaining considering some people have nothing to eat or had to hunt and gather for their food - talk about tiring!

Anyway, I stayed up till 2 pm last night finishing up that little crocheted amigurumi angel for my neighbor. She's been very helpful since I lost my vehicle and has been taking me grocery shopping and offering me rides.

She also helps other folks in this complex, so she reminds me of everyone's guardian angel. It came over me to make her this 6" angel and will sew her name on the skirt with some small letter beads that I have.

I don't go out much anymore; therefore, I get excited over little things, like this decandent Lipton Vanilla Caramel Truffle tea...it's so delishious that I don't even need to sweeten it. Next time I'll have to get 2 boxes.

Please forgive me, but I'm tired and my feet hurt. I'm going to put my feet and watch a Netflix movie.

The angel is very sweet - and you are very sweet to make it for your special friend. Mom loves tea, she just might have to look for that one tomorrow when she hits the grocery store. Have a great weekend.

You lost your car? I am sorry to hear that, but so glad you have someone to drive you. Yes, I know exactly about grocery shopping. I like to do it but really can't anymore. I've been getting injections in my knee, and two days ago went for a major grocery trip, back and forth in the big store, totally blew my knee out, now I feel like all the good the shots did is gone. I feel so bad that I've gotten to the point where I can't really do a huge grocery trip. But that's O.K. I will just go more often and get less, I am so glad to still be up and around. And when I go this weekend, I cannot wait to try the tea, you have given me a treat to look forward to! The little angel is wonderful, as are all your things!

that's a darling little angel you made. Your neighbor is sweet to help you out. Just remember all the friends you have helped also with transportation and other needs. Life is good when we look beyond our problems.

Hey Doris, what did you Netflix?

I love that tea too. I've been having it a lot recently also. Love, love, love your angel. that is such detail work. My grandma crocheted me a HUGE boy doll when I was growing up.

My latest addiction is also a tea ~ Stash English Breakfast tea, to be exact. I forgot my tea this morning in my haste to rush off to my volunteer session, and I regretted that lovely cup filled to the brim, left to languish on the counter and become cold, for the rest of the day.

How thoughtful that you made an angel for your sweet neighbor. It is absolutely adorable! You should make a few for Christmas and put them in your Etsy shop. You could charge a bit more to have them personalized with a name.

I'll have to give that tea a try, too.
