A beautiful little clip to put things back into perspective - it's a wonderful world if we only stop and look, listen and hear!
Bless you all, my dear friends, and Happy New Year from me, Weezie and the Romeow (whose growing as a weed)
They play every morning
Romeow always ambushes his poor Nana Weezie
His newest hiding place
As if I didn't have enough stuff in my desk drawer...
Weezie looks punished modeling one of my crocheted doggy coats
Nana Weezie and her pesky Romeow
Romeow wearing a doggy coat his Aunti Sandi gave him because her little Shi-Tzu, Sophie, outgrew it...it's still kind of big on him, but he didn't keep it on very long. He looks cute in pink even though he's a boy!
He's growing like a weed. He'll be 13 weeks in just a couple of days.
Last, but not least a couple pictures of my boy Gizzy, whom I miss every single day:
(Gizzy loved walking around the lake leisurely and stopping to look along the way)
(Gizzy is standing on our table where we stopped to bond with each other and nature)
(Gizzy bottom left, visiting with friends around the lake)
"Don't underestimate the value of Doing Nothing, of just going along, listening to all the things you can't hear, and not bothering" (a quote from Winnie the Pooh)... that's what Gizzy taught me when we were by the lake together! He really soaked up life and cherished being outside!
I want to wish you all a very happy and healthy New Year, love and joy to you and your furbies!
Prosit Neujahr!!!

Awww.. beautiful photos, ALL of them, Doris! And I love the Winnie the Pooh quote as well. This year I chose a word (for an art group I'm in, but I hear others have chosen words in previous years. This is the first I've even heard of it!).. Anyways, my word for the year, my wish, is "peace". I'm basically happy, but somewhere along the way, I have lost more and more and more my sense of calm, contentment, peace and quiet... Like I feel it slipping through my fingers. I have thoughts and theories as to why; but boy, oh boy, I just simply WISH for that sense of inner peace more than ever! I guess I've taken one baby step forward, just acknowledging the need, right?!.. In the meantime, I know you miss your Gizzy boy, but time will heal your pain, and happy memories will always live on in your heart. No one can EVER take them from you! Here's to new beginnings! Wishing you, Weezie and Romeow all the very best in 2012! Happy New Year, Doris!! ((hugs)) ~tina
Happy New Year Beloved Sister!
My original blogs disappeared...
I've started another but my heart is broken as all my poetry and three years hard work is gone.

gesundes, gutes 2012!

Guten Rutsch in ein glueckliches, gesundes und zufriedenes neues Jahr Doris!!
Liebe Doris....what a beautiful post! I know how your heart still aches for Gizzy.....he was truly a special one. You shared so much of your life in GA together...and that creates a DEEP bond.
It will take time for Weezie and Romeow to grow into your heart...it won't be the same - BUT - it will be different in it's own wonderful way. Weezie is adapting to being without Gizzy - yet, learning to live with the "Teeny Orange Terror"...(who, by the way, really IS growing up right before our eyes)!
It has been a year filled with real *ups and downs*...but, I remain ever hopeful that 2012 will bring health and joy to us all.
*Meeting* you, Gizzy, Weezie and Romeow has made my life fuller and I am happy we are friends!
God Bless you all.....and we'll talk again in 2012!
Frohe Neues Jahr! Zum Wohl!
Immer mit Liebe,
♥ Robin ♥
