I'm going to the doctor now and then to the post office, but here are some photos I took of Gizzy earlier...he's so darn cute, I can't stand it:
Talking to his auntie Sandi who gave him that soft, blue blankie to share with his sister Weezie on chilly mornings - it's been nice and cool lately, but it won't last - I've seen the forecast.
Enjoying the sunshine after a good brushing.
Practicing strong-hold preparedness for when he plays tug-o-war with his sister Weezie.
Looking picturesque on his windowsill built for two (courtesy of his uncle Bobby-Jack!)
Major snooz session possibly dreaming of his sister Weezie...

Congratulations on becoming a new mama this weekend and Gizzy a new sister - she is just what the doctor ordered.
Love,

Gizzy is such a cutie. Such a charmer. I bet he'll have lots of fun with his new sisfur
Dearest Doris,
What an excitment has been going on in your life lately... Such a great job for trapping some of the feral cats and having them neutered! And what a touching story of the rescue of the little 4 months old puppy. Heartbreaking! How can people be so cruel by NOT having their pets spayed and neutered and than abandoning the little ones?!
Gizzy might love a play-mate, even though he's not that young anymore but they love to do things together. What I've learned the last five years is to have never one pet alone. Always two! They need company of their own breed. A human parent is great for love, food and shelter but we cannot replace their own kind. It is heartwarming to see them play together and grow up together.
Love to you and wow, Saturday will be a special day.
Mariette
Hope gizzy will love Weezie!!!
They make such a handsome couple together.
How exiting to get a new dog dear!
Enjoy Saturday♥
I know the excitement is building everyday at your place in anticipation of Weezie's arrival so keep us updated. And yes, I agree, Gizzy is just 'too darn cute'.
I'm just now catching up on all your news. You have been one busy lady. A new member of the family!! Terrific!! And that cute little wire terrier yall rescued was a great story. Congratulations to you and Gizzy for welcoming Weezie, and congratulations to Weezie for a new home. Precious.
Oh my goodness!!!!.. I'm sorry, as I try to catch up here!.. But is Weezie coming home with YOU to stay?? at YOUR house??!~ If so, this is wonderful news! It breaks my heart to hear the dogs that are being killed because no one wants them... You KNOW I can't even leave some DOLL stranded in some strange box bound for the garbage bin!! So puppies on Death Row is just too much to wrap my head around at ALL! God bless you Doris, and your new baby!.. And big hugs to the new "Big Brother"!! ~tina
