New Blogger Design

I decided to try the new blogger Design feature and go back to my preferred black background. For some reason it's easier on my eyes. Let me know what you think.

I also finished this patriotic flower cotton pot holder (or hot pad) last night. I've been in the red, white and blue mood lately ...

    Your pot holder is lovely and so right for the start of the football. I like a black background I think it gives clarity to the pictues despite mine being blue.
    We've even got sunshine today :-)

    My dear mom used to make those cotton dishcloths and potholders in so many designs - all out of her head, mind you - and then she'd sell them at her craft table which she hosted every week-end at the nursing home! Very nice!

    I dont know if you're interested but there is a huge need for people who sew or crochet to send washcloths or rags trimmed off to Craft Hope to help clean up the animals effected by the oil spill - - it's Project 8 Just a FYI - I'm just gathering as many washcloths from friends and people in the high school I work in to send a box down. They're also in need of Dawn dish liquid. Glad I stopped by - I'll be back...Jennifer jennsthreegraces

    pretty potholder Doris...I have only made 2 so far. I tried the new blogger thing, but also went back..I don't have time today to play around with it..maybe some other time. Yours looks fine the way it is.

    I like the black background. I have trouble with patterned backgrounds.

    The dishcloths are just beautiful! Hooray for the red, white and blue!
