Me, Gizzy and the Big TV!

 A little elf whispered in my ear just now that Santa is bringing me THIS:

My friend's husband ordered a Plasma TV from QVC, so they are selling their big 52" picture tube that sits inside a cabinet with coasters. My friend knows I didn't have a TV for the longest time and the little one someone gave me a couple of weeks ago is old, small and pretty banged up looking because it was found discarded at the side of the road.

I have always admired that TV whenever I went to visit my friend and now it looks like it's going to be mine.They offered it to me at a very friendly price and as soon as theirs gets delivered, they'll bring the big one over to me. I will post photos when it arrives! I'm excited beyond belief!

Now I have some serious rearranging and packing to do! I need to clear the hallway and the bedroom because that's where this wall unit is going

The little TV can go back to the lady who gave it to me or stay in the bedroom if she doesn't want it.

When I get the big TV in here, the frist thing I'm going to do is wait till night time and then play my Fireplace DVD with the windows and doors wide open and wait to see how many people come running  LOL (You must understand my neighborhood - it's like a kindergarten and the office manager is momma!)

Fourth Advent Sunday and a heads up on my next Giveaway!

For those of you observing Advent, tomorrow we will be lighting our fourth candle, which is called the "Angels" candle, representing Peace.

I have mailed the three packages to the winners of my December/Christmas Giveaway. I have an idea for next month's giveaway and I have to forewarn you that it will take some creativity on your part, because I'm offering a very nice item (in Mohair) that is not generally given away; therefore, I'm asking for a little "song and dance" in return to see if you really want it.

To give you an idea (and another hint), I have started a second blog that is more of a subdued and reflective blog for my own thoughts and memories. You can go there and read about it now or later (I know everyone's busy) but what I  will be asking you has something to do with what I'm talking about in my first (and only post) on that blog. Let's take an example from our fine feathered friends, who are happy and rejoice in the day that our Lord has made...I have learned so much from observing the animals - they live in the moment and take every opportunity to be joyful - if you let them!

On the third Sunday of Advent the pink, or rose-colored, candle is lit. This pink candle is customarily called the "Shepherds Candle" and it represents JOY --- so, let's be joyful and remember the real reason for the season! Let's rejoice and be glad for unto us a Saviour is born! Hallelujah!!!
