Gator Sighting as reported by Gizzy!

So mom took me to Bank's Lake Outpost yesterday morning because we missed our early morning walk due to the rain.

I love visiting with my auntie Sandy - she always has treats for me - yummmy!

Then suddenly, when I was minding my own business (really, I was!) a green thing appeared on the floor!

My goodness, what is this?

Stop! You mustn't go any further!

Just call me the Gator Whisperer! I think I scared him stiff.

On the way home, mommy drove through Hardees to buy me a plain kiddie hamburger for lunch and after that, I was tuckered out!

(Excuse me while I catch a few Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzs)

I don't blame you for being tired Gizzy. Being an alligator whisperer is tough work. You're so brave.
You certainly had a full day and then to top it off with gourmet cuisine, you are one lucky pup I tell ya :) Duke and I agree you're a pretty cute little guy too

Great job Gizzy. It's hard being a guard dog and protecting everyone from the mean ole gators. You did good and certainly deserved the kiddie burger.
Sweet dreams little one. Oma Linda

Oh Gizzy, I don't blame you for being so tired. Having the courage to whisper to an alligator would be such hard and stressful work. You certainly deserved a burger.

Oh Gizzy, we could have used you earlier this week! There was an alligator on the interstate here in West Virginia that was causing some troubles. They ended up having to put the critter down. I can't believe someone brought it here in the first place! Last year there was a huge alligator in a lake that we fish at. Alligator's just don't belong in West Virginia.

Have a Great Weekend!

That a boy, Gizzy! I can only imagine how safe and secure Doris can feel while you're on top of these things, keeping watch for her, and protecting her from any vicious alligators that may be lurking about.. Like her little knight in shining armor! A true hero! Hope both you and Doris are enjoying your weekend! ((hugs)) ~tina

Oh this is too funny! The gator is bigger than Gizzy! Did he get to take it home?

Doris Sturm said...

No, Ginny, not at $29.95 plus tax!

You had us worried for a second there when we read your title. What a fun post to read! Gizzy, you are spoiled - bet you enjoyed that burger. Spoiled and loved, nothing wrong with that.

Well Gizzy, I'm so glad you had an adventurous day. I had no idea you liked burgers! Sure glad you took care of Doris and put the fear into that gator!
